Important Notice: Issuance of Admit Cards for Urdu Type Test and Urdu Short Hand Test
The Jammu and Kashmir Services Selection Board (JKSSB) is preparing to conduct the Urdu Type Test and Urdu Short Hand Test for various positions. This blog post aims to provide essential details regarding the issuance of admit cards and instructions for the upcoming tests scheduled for August 7, 2024.

2. Issuance of Admit Cards
Admit Cards for the candidates scheduled to appear for the test on August 7, 2024, will be available on the JKSSB's official website www.jkssb.nic.in starting from August 1, 2024, at 04:00 PM. The admit card will include the name and address of the examination centre, along with the date and time of the test.
3. Downloading the Admit Card
- Visit JKSSB's official website
- Click on the option to download the E-Admit Card
- Click on the "LOGIN" button
- Enter your Email ID and Date of Birth in the format DDMMYYYY
- Verify your details on the screen and proceed to download your admit card
- Click on "View and Print E-Admit Card" and download it
- Print the admit card for your examination day
Note: The admit card must be presented at the registration counter at the venue. Entry will be denied without the admit card and a valid identity proof.
4. Important Instructions
- Identity Proof Required: Candidates must bring one of the following valid ID proofs: Aadhaar Card, Voter Identity Card, Driving License, Passport, PAN Card, or Identity Card issued by a competent authority.
- Contact for Issues: If you face any issues downloading the admit card, contact the JKSSB Help-Desk at 0191-2461335 (Jammu) or 0194-2435089 (Srinagar) or email at helpdesk.jkssb@gmail.com. The Help Desk will be available from August 1, 2024, during office hours.
- Multiple Notifications: Candidates with multiple admit cards must appear for the test against a single admit card only. Appearing for multiple shifts/tests will lead to disqualification.
- Clubbed Admit Cards: Candidates issued multiple Roll Numbers/Admit Cards are advised to submit a clubbing request. A notice for this will be issued after the tests.
- No Supplementary Tests: There will be no supplementary tests. Candidates missing the test will be disqualified from further consideration.
5. Final Notes
Candidates should regularly check the JKSSB's official website for the latest updates. No admit cards will be sent by post, so it is essential to download and print your admit card before the examination day.
